The weather has turned awesome here in the Pacific Northwest. This means the garden is growing, the hills are greener than usual and refreshing drinks on the deck are about to start happening. Spring here in Oregon is beyond beautiful and reminds me every passing year why we put up with the rain.
I think The Bee's Knees has got to be the cutest cocktail name, ever. When I hear it, I see a pretty bee dolled up in a fringed dress, feathered headpiece, high heels and a string of pearls, ready for a night on the town.
Will this margarita make you millions? I'm not so sure...but it might make you feel like a million bucks while you are sweet sipping it! Did you know that National Margarita Day was on Feb. 22nd? The great folks at Patron reminded me. I'm a bit late to the game, but we can declare ...
Happy weekend! Hope it is off to a great start! My kids are at ski school & I am creating cocktail recipes...I know fun right?! I'm beyond obsessed with berries, all berries especially blueberries! Hopefully you can sip these Blueberry Martinis over the weekend, next week for happy hour & be sure to pin & bookmark this ...
The perfect margarita is all about fresh, crisp flavors barely tempered by triple sec and sugar. After testing all the ratios, this is the one we reach for. Why this recipe works: A good quality tequila needs no sugar to balance the acidity of lime juice beyond triple sec.
I'd prefer not to curse here on the blog - but this recipe is *&$#%@ de-li-cious. I first heard about the infamous Aperol spritz back in the day from my best friend Adam who wouldn't shut up about the damn things. Perhaps I was jealous that he had been to Italy and I hadn't.
These margaritas are hands down the best cocktail I've ever made. I'm not sure if they tasted so damn good because we had just spent a chilly night sleeping in the car followed by 9 hours of driving or if they just tasted good because they are amazing on their own.
Prep Time: 15 min + freeze time We made this when we stayed in a beach house during the summer. What a great drink-on-the-beach recipe for an especially hot day!
Pair gin with vermouth and you get botanicals on top of botanicals. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but bring sherry into the mix and you'll find something both more smooth and electrifying, with hints of marcona almonds and a wonderful savory bite.
