In the past few weeks, I've spotted a few blog posts featuring gorgeously picturesque photos of perfectly manicured hands gently grabbing apples and twisting them from branches, and beautiful orchards with rows and rows of magnificent apples, bright in color.
I have a sweet tooth. A pretty wicked one which isn't good for someone who doesn't necessarily prefer to bake. If you asked me I would tell you I'm a cook. Don't get me wrong, I can bake, I just prefer the flexibility of cooking vs the rigidness that baking requires.
Strawberry Margarita Cupcakes I've been a cupcake baking fiend lately, and I have to tell you it feels good. I love staying home with Clara but certainly miss my sweet (pun intended) job working at Richmond's best cupcake shop.

I'm all about tradition, and yet I feel torn because there's so many other wonderful dishes to make that I would love to experiment with.
The first dessert recipe I ever posted on this blog was for a cherry pie. And since I never posted an accompanying photo, I thought it was about time I made up for that. So here it is, four years later, my cherry almond crumble pie.
I'm back with more sweet and salty goodness. Because it's Friday and what better way to end the week than with another boozy dessert for St. Patty's Day? You can go right ahead and add these to your weekend plans ... you certainly won't regret it.
