This post comes from both me and my sister, Rebecca. We're finally living under the same roof after 6 years apart, and it's so nice to be back together! In fact, we just put in an application for an apartment together, but before it's official I'll just leave it at that Anyways.
With hot weather soon to come, we will all be scrambling for no bake desserts. Who wants to fire up the oven when you're fighting to keep the house comfortably cool? This Easy Triple Lemon Oreo Cheesecake no-bake recipe is just the treat for those hot days.
It's the holidays! Let's let loose, go back for thirds, and spike the pie. Bourbon Buttermilk Pie is filled with the spirit and ready to light up your dessert table. Yes, there will be pumpkin pie. Yes, there will be pecan. But the secret pie behind door number three?
After last week's Nutella, did you really think I could leave cronuts away? Not possible! In case you've been "unplugged" for the last year, cronuts are a mix between flaky, layered croissants and yeasty, deep-fried donuts. Sound amazing? Well... they are. They really, really are.
Do you ever misspell a word so many times that even when you get it right it looks wrong? Parfat. Parfaight. Parfaite. Parfaaaaaaaaay. Spellcheck and Google are both reassuring me that parfait is correct but I can't trust anyone anymore. They're ALL WRONG.
This blueberry buttermilk bundt cake is filled with fresh blueberries and topped with a thick sugar glaze. The cake is super tender and moist, and it will stay that way for several days! How is it already August?
Happy Valentine's Day, Ahhh, Valentine's Day, a day of love, romance and chocolate. I love Valentine's Day because it's full of hearts, flowers and sweets, however I think now a days it's more for the newly in love couples.
I am 100% on the mason jar bandwagon. Take something average and put it in a mason jar...instant cuteness upgrade. Recently, Ball even reissued their vintage blue jars to celebrate their 100th anniversary. I think I paid more in shipping than I did for the actual jars, but I had to have them.
This cake. Can ya even handle? Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cake. A simple name for a very un-simple kind of dessert. (I debated using a plethora of adjectives in the name - Death By Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake, Ultimate Chocolate Peanut Butter Celebration Cake - but in the end, I went with classic and straightforward, because this cake has enough flare all on its own...and I couldn't decide between the fluffy alternatives.)
OMG, this pudding cake. Pumpkin + chocolate + brewed coffee + pumpkin pie spices + almond milk = heaven in a dish! Heaven in a gluten-free, vegan dish, that is. And it's easily made nut-free just by swapping out the almond milk for coconut milk. Want it soy-free too?
