I grew up in a small town that is pretty rural, although it didn't feel that way at the time. We had a (small) grocery store, THREE pizza shops and a sprawling park full of little league fields.
I. Can't. Stop. Making. Ice cream/ Frozen yogurt. And I'm most unlikely to, especially after tasting this yogurt. It's hard to believe- no ice cream maker and just two ingredients. The texture is unbelievable. This batch has the best texture amongst all the ice cream/ frozen yogurt recipes I've tried so far.
A couple of months ago I was on a serious malt kick. I had ordered some malted milk powder from King Arthur Flour and went on a malt bender; most notable were the Chocolate Malted Whopper Cookies and Malted Vanilla Milkshake. Seriously delicious. The malted milk powder takes just about everything to another level.
When my in-laws still lived in Florida, my husband and I would go down to visit for a couple of weeks each spring and fall. It was the perfect time to visit - the weather was much milder than the hot and humid Florida summers, yet it was still a nice break from the cooler temperatures up here in Pittsburgh.
