Homemade Magic Shell Recipe | Brown Eyed Baker
I grew up in a small town that is pretty rural, although it didn't feel that way at the time. We had a (small) grocery store, THREE pizza shops and a sprawling park full of little league fields.

Crumbs and Cookies
I. Can't. Stop. Making. Ice cream/ Frozen yogurt. And I'm most unlikely to, especially after tasting this yogurt. It's hard to believe- no ice cream maker and just two ingredients. The texture is unbelievable. This batch has the best texture amongst all the ice cream/ frozen yogurt recipes I've tried so far.

Malted Milk Ice Cream
A couple of months ago I was on a serious malt kick. I had ordered some malted milk powder from King Arthur Flour and went on a malt bender; most notable were the Chocolate Malted Whopper Cookies and Malted Vanilla Milkshake. Seriously delicious. No-Bake Chocolate Coconut Ice Cream Torte
Since I made my chocolate avocado tortes (see no bake version and cooked crust version), they quickly became a favourite warm weather dessert - cold, decadent, and also two of the 21 most popular dessert recipes on the blog in 2011.

Homemade Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake [Copycat]
When we were kids, anytime a birthday would roll around, my mom would ask my sister and I what we wanted on our birthday cakes. My requests varied each year, ranging from Peanuts-themed cake to Sesame Street and (shocker) a hockey player.

Cinnamon Ice Cream
I'll be completely honest with you. I was both excited and nervous about making this ice cream. Excited, obviously, because it's cinnamon ice cream and it's now September and I had all kinds of delicious visions of apple pie with cinnamon ice cream dancing in my head.
