Our new neighborhood has a slightly older feel to it. Okay, I'll just be honest, it is old. The houses are older and the people are older. Our young ;), loud, energetic family has disrupted the quiet, peaceful feel of the place.

These Chex Scotcheroos are an addicting treat so beware! They are made with Chex cereal and a whole lot of yum. I am one who needs desserts. I NEED them. No matter what. There is always room for dessert is basically my mantra. I also hate cooking and baking in the summer.
It feels like a while since I posted an ice cream recipe. There's really no excuse because the recipe I always turn to is so freaking simple and it's not like the weather is too chilly here in California.

If you're a fan of Almond Joy, you're going to love these tasty little coconut and chocolate truffles.

If you've ever made a cheesecake, you know they can be a little bit tricky. Which is one of the reasons I love these Mason Jar Cheesecakes. They don't require quite the precision of a regular cheesecake. Not to mention, they're just so darn fun!
