Vegan Char Siu Bao - The Woks of Life
Vegan char siu bao or cha siu bao (i.e. vegan roast pork buns). Does that even make any sense? Well, yes and no. Obviously, there is NO pork in these buns. But they taste remarkably similar to the traditional char siu bao that many of us know and love.

Salt and Pepper Shrimp - The Woks of Life
Salt and pepper shrimp is a dish in the same family as Salt and Pepper Pork Chops and Salt and Pepper Squid; they are all crowd pleasers. Crispy, salty, slightly spicy...what's not to like? You're definitely going to get a bunch of oooh's and ahhh's at the table when salt and pepper shrimp is being served.

Tartelette
There are very few things that say Spring to me like a few stalks of rhubarb do. I am not alone sharing that sentiment just from seeing all the rhubarb recipes posted by fellow bloggers out there. That makes me happy. I do have a little love affair with "la rhubarbe" each year.

unicorn strawberry cake recipe | Sugar & Cloth
photos by Jared Smith You may be asking yourself "how in the world is this a unicorn cake, and why would someone make that?". Well, that's a great question, and technically I have no idea other than the fact that every time I look at this cake that we created with Monica from Paper Flour Ink (and based off of the amazingly talented Katherine Sabbath 's designs!), is that it looks like unicorn food.

Cake in a Mason Jar
Let me begin by simply saying I did not invent this. I got the idea from here. Which I found through Pinterest. Which is addicting and fabulous all rolled into one. I hate to give you more excuses to waste spend time on the internet, but Pinterest just be be awesome enough to make the exception.

Sweet and Spicy Zucchini Relish
As a nutritionist, I certainly appreciate food for the good things (or not so good things) it does for our bodies. Health stuff aside though, I've always said one of the biggest reasons I love food is for the memories it makes for everyone.
