This is Jack - the "and" in Love and Lemons - and this is my first post. For awhile now, Jeanine has been mentioning that I should make some posts. But I didn't want to tread on her writing territory, and I'm used to the "video gamer" view of the internet, where people are mean and petty.

Today I'm riding the coattails of my favorite ice cream recipes and continuing the celebration of National Ice Cream Month with more ice cream fun. In fact, this week BEB is completely devoted to ice cream treats... I think you're going to enjoy the different types of recipes that are in the queue!

I have been wanting to make roasted banana ice cream for what feels like forever. I finally got around to it this week and am totally smitten. If you love bananas, you will positively fall in love with this ice cream. It basically tastes like a frozen piece of banana bread.

I can't believe that it's already the end of June and this the very first batch of homemade ice cream I've churned up so far this year! I'm way, way behind on my ice cream game.

Can an ice cream recipe be inspired by a donut? Because this one totally is. Be stoked. Back when we were living in Kansas City ( aahhhhh), we got into the habit of visiting a coffee shop every Friday that happened to serve up some wonderful and delicious donuts.

Happy Monday, my friends! This weekend was nice and relaxing, with some fun LCK events added to the mix. On Friday, the two winners from my Chestnut Hill Square giveaway (Ali and Dana) and I took a spin class at SoulCycle, had lunch at SweetGreen, picked out earrings at Francesca's, got a gluten-free cupcake from Sweet, and for out last stop, went over to Athleta where we got some brand new yoga mats!

Lots of mocha flavor and a generous portion of crunchy chocolate pieces star in this creamy banana-based ice cream that's secretly healthy and doesn't even require an ice cream maker! I come bearing the best news of the week today: It's FRIDAY.

I love and I love popsicles. Why not combine the two? These popsicles are fruity, refreshing and extremely easy to make. You can use any of your favorite fruit juices. I always prefer pomegranate juice in my Red Sangria. It always seems to complement the red wine.
