Summer is here! At least it is according to the weather. It's been hot the last few days and I could not have timed trying this piña colada sherbet recipe better. Nothing says summer more than the combo of pineapple, coconut, and rum. And nothing beats the summer heat more than a frozen treat.
It's never too cold outside for something frozen and sweet, right? This easy sorbet made from freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and Campari liqueur is light and naturally fat-free. I know not everyone loves grapefruit as much as I do, but this time of year I can't get enough.
So, the best part is, you don't have to make a German chocolate cake to enjoy this sundae. But you do have to procure some coconut ice cream to experience this. I highly suggest making the coconut ice cream we made a couple of days ago, it's so good and easy to throw together.
