I would imagine that you are probably getting tired of all the different ice cream recipes I've been posting. Yes? No? I can't help it. I've been experimenting with my ice cream maker and my family has been loving all the different frozen treats its been churning out.
I have been obsessed with berries lately. They are in season here in Southern California so much earlier than I was used to on the East Coast, so I feel like I have been given this extra special gift this year. The berries out here are seriously better than I have ever tasted before.
It only took me three months to make my first ice cream of 2014. There's no excuse with a climate like Southern California, we're lucky here and could be eating ice cream any day of the year, like orange lavender buttermilk ice cream! But enough of being a weather gloat.
Do you have a favorite kitchen appliance? Do you keep it out so you see it and use it? I love my ice cream maker but sadly I don't use it enough. But I'm about to change that by experimenting with some new recipes this year.
Breakfast for dessert, or dessert for breakfast. That is the question. As someone who has a slight obsession for both, that's a dilemma I'm familiar with. Growing up, I did the breakfast for dinner thing for a long time.
