Every year for my birthday my mom gifts me with a year subscription to Bon Appétit Magazine. Even though there are many wonderful recipes available online there is something extra special about actually holding and touching the pages of a beautiful food magazine.
It's been over 40 degrees consistently for several days now. Pretty sure that in the midwest this qualifies as "patio weather". I don't think that anybody could deny that this is something worth celebrating. So, we created a cocktail for just such an occasion. Seasonally appropriate, and super refreshing.

It took me numerous tries to shoot this drink. I'm not a drink shooter yet, but this kind of shows a lesson in light. All 3 of the photos were taken in different light. Interesting how they came out, huh? I like them :) creates a different mood in each one!
We have two peach trees in our front yard. One of them gave us three peaches this year. Three. Tres. I don't know what happened. Maybe peach trees have off years? Last year it was full to the brim. Luckily, our other tree has given us quite a few.
